The texts read:

“C’est le serrurier de la rue Phillipe de Girard qui m’a dit: n’achetez pas de nouvelle serurie: les cambrioleurs defoncent les portes avec leur épaules.”

“C’EST UN CAMBRIOULEUR ASSOMMÉ”

“J’ai pris cette clé du Grand Larousse”

“C’EST UN GEÖLIER TRÈS GROS QUI SE REPOSE”


 Translated:

“This is the locksmith from the rue de l’Alice in the 18 arondissement, and in the market he began by eating a half-pound steak for his breakfast”

“It was the locksmith from the rue Phillipe de Girard who told me, Don’t buy a new type lock: the burglars just force doors open with their shoulders.”

“This is a burglar who’s been knocked out.”

“I copied this key from the Grand Larousse encylopedia.”
